In the Fall of 1998 when deciding to leave a mid-size firm in greater Hartford, Attorney Gasser opened his own office in a shared space and resource arrangement with an attorney-friend, F. William O’Connor. The practice grew, adding a full-time secretary and paralegal. Presently the firm has two full-time attorneys, two paralegals, and a support staff of three individuals.

On October 31, 2008 the firm celebrated its 10 year anniversary.

While some firms operate under the theory that bigger is better, our firm has taken a different path. Attorney Gasser maintains that smaller is better. Our size allows members of our staff to have one-on-one relationships with clients that ensure excellent communication and continuity of representation.

The firm continues to be grateful for our valuable clients, including Fortune 500 companies, for showing confidence that our firm can handle matters better than a large firm.

It has been said that a law firm should strive for “excellence, not perfection.” If an “excellent” 5 page motion will have the same effect on the Court as a 25 page “perfect” brief, there is no reason for a firm to provide the latter except to increase billable hours. The “excellence, not perfection” saying is a perfect articulation of our firm's philosophy.
